We had 568 people on Saturday and 1066 on Sunday come through the gates.
Thank you to all our volunteers, exhibitors and of course customers who made the event a massive success. Pictures are in the photo section.
More pictures can be found on facebook HERE and HERE.

20th June: At least: 100 dads, 50 cyclists, 40 coach travellers, 36 cubs on bikes, 50 families, 5 newborn babies and - no not a Partridge in a Pear Tree but - ONE electric kettle, all enjoyed our Solstice Fathers' Day Steaming. Our special thanks go to our two steam departments: Annie the engine and her dedicated crew as well as Dawn, Diana and the kitchen kettle for their efforts to make our steam days go well.  As we get more popular the harder our staff have to work.  One of the things that has to go is taking pictures.  If you happen to be with us on a steam day with your camera, richard@whitwellstation.com would love to have a copy of your snaps, remembering that if there are children in the photos we would have to have their parents' permission to reprint them in On Line.

Below are 2 of our 'cleaners' who help out (Sam and Harvey), I think we used them to actually wipe the dirt off Annie when she was cleaned this morning!

Thanks to all the helpers (and tasters!) and to all the people who made the lovely cakes.

7th February: The Reepham Running Club have held a 10K run for several years, partly to encourage runners to visit Reepham and surrounds, but also to generate funds for the Club. Because Reepham Runners have enjoyed the support of the Local Community, it has been felt that the Club should attempt to encourage other local community activities, so from the monies generated by the annual run 3 local charities have benefited. The Whitwell & Reepham Railway Preservation was chosen because of their local involvement and willingness to make their facilities available for the community benefit, including Reepham Running Club. On Sunday 7th Feb several of the members of Reepham Running Club attended the presentation of the Cheque for £150 to Mike Urry Chairman of the Whitwell & Reepham Preservation Trust. Mike Urry thanked the Reepham Running Club for their donation and indicated the money would go to improve the facilities for the visitors to the Station.
